Leth'Anora Quay ¶
Overview ¶Leth’Anora Quay is a major coastal settlement situated along the shores of the Velarium Blue, a vast and unnaturally calm ocean that stretches to the edges of the Great Scar. Known formally as Lethinoraki, the city stands as one of the last remaining western ports capable of launching vessels into the open sea. Built upon steep, carved elevations, the city rises in layered terraces above the water, with mirrored depths beneath. Its architecture reflects refined elven design, favouring symmetry, pale stone, and deliberate construction. At a glance, Leth’Anora appears prosperous, stable, and untouched by the upheaval of the Sundering. This appearance is not entirely true. The Vertical Dockland City ¶Leth’Anora is defined by verticality. The port itself opens directly into the Velarium Blue, where the sea stretches outward into fog and silence. |

Districts ¶
The Upper Reaches ¶
The upper reaches of Leth’Anora are home to the majority of its elven population.
• Pristine white stone buildings and archways
• Carefully maintained public spaces
• Evidence of wealth and long-standing infrastructure
The Uppers maintain the illusion of continuity as elven grandour.
Citizens believe:
• Prince Rainar departed for conflict in Anhelmere
• The city remains under rightful royal rule
• Trade and stability continue as they always have
Life here is ordered, composed, and insulated from disruption.
The Underways ¶
Beneath the city lies the Underways, a layered network of shadowed districts.
• Predominantly inhabited by tieflings and other marginalised groups
• Home to underground guilds, information brokers, and covert trade
• Less structured, more adaptive, and considerably more dangerous
The Underways operate closer to truth.
Here, it is known that:
• Prince Rainar is dead
• Control of the city has shifted
• The surface narrative cannot be trusted
Some factions resist this reality. Others profit from it.
The Splinter Group ¶
A covert presence within the city.
• Composed of former scholars, arcanists, and clerics
• Dedicated to studying the Great Scar
• Operate through observation, records, and recovered knowledge
They do not worship the Scar. They seek to understand it.
Some within or adjacent to this group are believed to be experimenting with:
• Harnessing the Scar as an energy source
Aevum Spira Palace ¶
Aevum Spira, or known formally as The Spiral of Ages is the central seat of power within Leth’Anora Quay, a structure that defies simple architectural definition.
The palace spans both the Upper Reaches and the Underways, anchoring itself across the vertical divide of the city. It is not merely positioned between these layers, but woven through them, as though constructed with full awareness of both surface and shadow.
The palace serves as the domain of Zalathos, whose influence extends throughout the city not only through presence, but through perception itself.
