Codex of Pantheons ¶
Systems of Power ¶
In Thalureth, power is not granted through a single divine source, nor is it fully understood by those who wield it.
Most who live within the Mortal Grove believe in distinct systems of power:
- A radiant order of higher beings who hold back the darkness
- A living natural force that can be felt, but not spoken to
- A hidden structure of arcane energy that can be studied and shaped
These systems are not separate in origin, but they are experienced as separate in practice.
Faith, instinct, and intellect each provide different ways of accessing power:
- Faith draws upon what remains of the Radiant Order
- Instinct connects to the living structure of the world itself
- Intellect manipulates the fractured system beneath reality
What remains is not a clear system, but a fractured understanding, one that people continue to follow, defend, and build their lives around.
